Salomon Leger was a son of Mozes Leger and Jetje Engers. Hij was previously married to a non-Jewish woman and after her passing, remarried on 22 November 1934 in Amsterdam to Schoontje Vuisje,
a daugther of Jonas Vuisje and Betje Scheffer.
Salomon and Schoontje had a daughter in 1935, born in Borgerhout who has survived the war.
Salomon was born in a family with nine children of whom four children did not survive the Holocaust, Salomon self, Isaac, Elisabeth and Meijer. About Salomon's brother Emanuel, who was married to Dina Zak, nothing is further known of him.
