Abraham Baruch was a son of Israel Baruch and Sara Bonavang. He married 25 May 1904 in Zaandam to Betje van Gelder, a daughter of Nathan van Gelder and Roosje Cohen. The couple had seven children, of whom only Israel has survived the war. All other children, Sara, Nathan, Salomon, Rosalie, Jacob and Evaline Hélène have been killed during the Holocaust.
