Mozes Zwaap was a son of Levie Zwaap and Jannetje Slager. He married 28 August 1907 in Amsterdam to Rachel Bos, a daughter of Nathan Bos and Mina Neuwit. The couple had three children: the still at home living Henriette and the at other addresses living Louis0 and Nathan.
Mozes had siblings, who also have been killed during the Holocaust: Saartje, Keetje, Zadok and Mietje.
