Dina van Praag was a daughter of Gerrit van Praag and Esther Oudkerk, a family with six children, of which her brothers Meijer and Hijman died in the Holocaust. Dina married in Den Helder on 18 October 1899 to Meijer Gerrit Oudker, who passed away already in 1935. Besides Esther and Gerard, the couple had four other children: Gerrit, Henriette, Louise and Hermand who all have died in childhood.

Dina’s husband Meijer Oudkerk passed away in 1935 in Amsterdam; since then she lived at various addresses in the city, with her son Gerard. Her last known address where she has lived in with Gerard was at P.C. Hooftstraat 100 upstairs, with Maurits Baars and his wife.
Dina van Praag was carried off on 30 April 1943 to Westerbork where she stayed in barrack 60. On 4 May she was put on transport to Sobibor and upon arrival there on 7 May 1943, she was immediately murdered there in the gas chambers.
