Izak Smeer was a son of Azor Smeer and Sara Cohen. He was unmarried and he was employed in the textile industry as presser. Among others, Izak has worked and lived in Antwerp but her returned to Amsteram 5 October 1935, where he found housing at various addresses, as i.e. Jodenbreestraat 17 and Zwanenburgwal 34. 3 March 1941 his address became Ruyschstraat 100 I in Amsterdam, since October 1942 still shortly having stayed in Hilversum but per 26 Februari 1943 again in Amsterdam at Nieuwe Kerkstraat 135. 15 April 1943 he has been deported to Camp Westerbork, stayed there in barack 60 till 4 May 1943, when he was put on transport to Sobibor. There, upon arrival 7 May 1943, Izak Smeer has been immediately killed.
