About Emma Mannheim-Ledermann

Emma Ledermann was the mother of Herbert Mannheim. She was deported to Bergen-Belsen, via Westerbork. Because she owned a Palestine-certificate she was exchanged in 1944 with a group of others against Germans from Palestine. On the way to Palestine she died during transport in Istanbul.
