Daniël Belinfante was a son of Aron Belinfante and Sara Lisser.

He was a musician. He was married and he and his wife lived in Blaricum. As a member of the resistance, Daniël Belinfante helped people in hiding and distributed radio announcements. On 19 August 1943 he was arrested in Amsterdam while distributing radio announcements and was deported to Auschwitz via the Hollandsche Schouwburg and Westerbork. From there he was assigned to an Aussenkommando.
