Samson Moses Samson was a son of Moses Samson and Maria Schaap. He was married twice: in 1918 with Nenna Bekker, from whom divorced in 1932 and in 1939 he married the Viennese Marie Löwy.
Samson lived at the Zuider Amstellaan 182 in Amsterdam, from where he went to Westerbork on 8 August 1942, presumably after a call for the so-called work expansion in Germany. On 14 August he was deported to Auschwitz, where he was employed in or outside the camp.
It is not known on what day exact Samson Moses Samson died there; The Dutch Authorities therefore requested the municipality of Amsterdam after the war to draw up a death certificate for Samson Moses Samson, in which the place and date of his death was determined as on 30 September 1942 in Auschwitz.
