Marianne Halberstad was a daughter of Levie Halberstad and Judik Wijnstok. She married in Amsterdam to Benedictus Schuitevoerder, son of Hartog Schuitevoerder and Mina Papegaaij. Benedictus passed away on 3 March 1937 in Amsterdam and was buried at the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen. The couple had five children: Mina, Greta, Jetje, Aaltje and Louise.
