Helene Kugelmann married in 1911 in Corbach to Mildenberg. They had at least one child. The marriage was dissolved by a divorce. She was the sole inhabitant of shoestore Kugelmann in the Hüsingstraße/Ecke Mährstraße in Schwerte. She was planning to emigrate with her sister to Argentina. Before the war Helene Kugelmann decided however to flee to Amsterdam. Her last lifesign was a letter dated 3 April 1943.
