Sophia (Fie) Santcroos was a very good friend of Henriette Polak.Presumably they knew each other from work. When Henriette (Jet) married to Samuel de Winter and moved from Amsterdam to Tiel, they remained friends. Fie and Jet went on holidays together to Dieren (in 1919) and to Katwijk (in 1923). On this last holidays they were accompanied by a sister of Fie, Clara Santcroos, and by Jet's husband Sam.
