The mayor of Waspik requested that Eva de Jong, a Dutchwoman without any occupation and residing at A 8 Benedenkerk in Waspik, who had violated regulations by changing her place of residence without permission, be located, detained and brought to trial. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. She was believed to have left her home in the night of 26 to 27 August 1942 and had been missing since then. Eva de Jong had a solid to large build.
