About Jacob Benninga

Jacob Benninga lived on the Jodengang in Eenrum. He was known as 'Mooi Jopke' [Bonnie Jopke] to distinguish him from another Jacob living there. Jacob Benninga owned a kosher butcher shop. At Passover he went house to house with an ox for customers to identify the sections they wanted. He was a prompter at the Eenrum drama club.
