Jacob Cardozo was a son of Jacob Cardozo and Elisabeth Koekoek. He married 14 June 1922 in Amsterdam to Elisabeth Stibbe, a daughter of Jacob Stibbe and Esther van Praag.
In 1929, Jacob and Elisabeth had a daughter Elisabeth.
On 25 August 1942, Jacob, his wife and daughter Elisabeth were deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy V, which arrived in Auschwitz on the 27th of August. Most likely Jacob and his wife and daughter have been killed there immediately upon arrival.
Jacob was born in a family with five children. He self and his siblings Esther, Judith, Sophia and Hendrika have been killed all during the Holocaust.
