Hendrika Cardozo was a daughter of Jacob Cardozo and Elisabeth Koekoek. She married in Antwerp on 15 April 1924 to Hartog Erwteman, a son of Hijman Erwteman and Heintje Polak.
She was, together with her son Henri, deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy 8 on 8 September 1942 and most likely immediately killed upon arrival there.
Hendrika was born in a family with five children. She self, and her siblings Esther, Jacob, Judith and Sophia have been killed all during the Holocaust.
