Frommatia Gans was probably generally known as Frommy. In 1940, Frommy lived with her mother and her brothers Mozes and Simon for a time, on Damsterweg in Siddeburen. Her father had died by then. The Gans family came from Delfzijl, where they had a shop selling household items. People were leaving Delfzijl because German anti-aircraft fire was keeping them awake at night. Mozes and Simon did not always spend the night in Siddeburen. Frommy cared for her sick mother. The Gans family probably left Siddeburen in 1941.
