Salomon Stoodel was a son of Izak Josua Stoodel and Saartje Nathan Engelsman. He married Branca Velleman in 1883. She passed away in 1900. Salomon Stoodel remarried the same year to Rose Velleman. She passed away in 1923 in Antwerp. He had four children from his first marriage: Heintje, Betje, Isaac (who passed away in 1894) and Eva (who passed away in 1896). Because of his second marriage he also had five stepchildren.
