Marcus Abram was a son of Simon Abram and Sara Azuiga. Marcus married Anna van Dam (1842-1922) on 2 December 1871 in Amsterdam. the couple had five children: Jetje and Saartje, who both passed away before the war and Barend, Mozes and Karel.
