The husband of Rachel Borzykowski survived the war. He wrote the book Vernietigingskamp Sobibor (Amsterdam, 1993). He is one of the founders of the Foundation Sobibor. Rachel Borzykowski and her husband lived with her grandparents for a while after her marriage in 1941.
