Esther Bamberg was a daughter of David Bamberg and Hendrika van Bueren. 4 December 1918 she married in Rotterdam, aged 30, the non-Jewish Wijnandus Christianus van der Brugge from Delft.
As a result of her illness, she stayed in 1941 at Rest Home Soesman, Persijnstraat 1 in Rotterdam There she passed away 28 August 1941 and the funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Rotterdam Toepad reveal that Esther Bamberg was interred there.
According to the obituary in the Rotterdams Nieuwsblad of 30 August 1941, her residence was Wolphaertsbocht 259c in Rotterdam, located in the Carnisse neighborhood, were she lived with her husband.
