About Julia van Voolen-Kan

Julia van Voolen-Kan was the widow of George (also known as Gompert) van Voolen. She was a sister of Flora Kan, who was married to het brother-in-law Israël van Voolen, and Johanna. The couple had two children: Maurits and one child that fled in 1940 via Curaçao to the United States. Julia van Voolen-Kan lived in the house of her son Maurits.
