Klaartje Cohen was a daughter of Sodik Cohen and Martha Brandes. She was married to Juda van Weezel, son of Mozes Levie van Weezel and Cato Salomon Davidson. Her sister Grietje was married to Juda van Weezel but she died in Amsterdam and was interred 8 February 1883 in the Jewish Cemetery at Muiderberg.
Juda and Grietje had three children together: Emelia, Mozes and Zadok.
Her sister Klaartje married then the widower of her sister Grietje, Juda van Weezel, on 18 June 1884 in Harderwijk and together they had a son Alexander, who has survived the Holocaust.

Klaartje Cohen lived on the Transvaalplein 18 huis, but moved to Amstel 91 boven on 10 October 1940. On 17 December 1942 she moved back to her old address.
