Abraham Hoogstraal, a son of Salomon Hoogstraal and Carolina Bernard, married on 5 August 1942 in Amsterdam to Esther Scheffer, a daughter of Hartog Scheffer and Eva Roet.
Beside he self, also his siblings have been killed during the Holocaust: Geertje, Hartog, Paulina Jansje, Grietje Schoontje and the still at home living Ephraim and Simon.
