Kaatje van Leeuwen, daughter of Meijer van Leeuwen and Eva van Driel, was the widow of Hijman Benjamin Vorst who died in Amsterdam on 19 July 1926. Kaatje Vorst-van Leeuwen had gone into hiding in Amsterdam. In early January 1944, she was betrayed and deported to Auschwitz via Westerbork.
