The Hengelo police commissioner requested that the widow Rosalia Jacobs-Spits be located, detained and brought to trial. She resided in Hengelo and had changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Rosalia Jacobs-Spits was a daughter of Jochem Spits and Clara Cosmann. Rosalia was married to Mourits Jacobs in Enschede in 1905. He passed away before the war.
