The Rotterdam police commissioner requested that 'the Jew Sally Linnewiel, a merchant' residing at 97c Schepenstraat in Rotterdam, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of 'fraud, embezzlement and theft.'
Two months after the first notice, a second missing persons notice was issued for Sally Linnewiel.
