Michel Salomon van Dantzig and Elisabeth Sloves were married at transit camp Westerbork on 14 October 1942. He was an office clerk and a son of Salomon van Dantzig and Hanna Cune. She was a sales woman and a daughter of former postal worker Hijman Sloves and Rebecca van de Roode. The parents of the bride attended the marriage ceremony; they signed the marriage certificate. Hester Sloves, a sister of the bride, served as a witness.
