The police commissioner of Nijmegen requested that Rebecca van Dijk, an office clerk residing at 21 Bachstraat in Nijmegen, be located, detained and brought to trial. She was suspected of having changed her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. The request also stipulated that any money found on her was to be confiscated.
