Salomon Victor Hertzdahl was the son of Karel Hertzdahl and Rosalie Souwiene. He was director of the Maastricht branch of the firmNV Kleedingmagazijnen van Wolf & Hertzdahl, a chain of clothing shops in the Netherlands.
