The police commissioner of Gouda requested that the following person 'of Jewish parentage', suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization, be located, detained and brought to trial: Joachim Bernhard Engländer, residing at 4 Piersonweg in Gouda. He had left Gouda on 10 July 1942 without the required authorization and had been missing since then. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Joachim Engländer left Gouda in the summer of 1942. He was arrested in France.
