The Arnhem police commissioner requested that Carl Isidore Mouwes, residing at 113 Johan de Wittlaan in Arnhem, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
Carl Isidore Mouwes was deported to Sobibor in June 1943 from Vught via Westerbork on the so-called children's transport. He was 13 when he died.
