Abraham Kok was a blacksmith and worked as an engine driver for the Dutch Railways. In the Central Railwaystation in Amsterdam there is a plaquette on which is written that Abraham Kok ‘has fallen for the Netherlands’. But this description does not correspond to what really happened to Abraham Kok.
