Marianne Engelsman and Harry Gobas were married at Westerbork transit camp on 30 August 1943. He was a lawyer and litigator. He was a son of the merchant Alfred Gobas and of Wilhelmina Mosbach, deceased. Marianne, a pharmacist's assistant by profession, was a daughter of the real estate agent Isaac Engelsman and of Sientje Bas. The parents of the bride attended the marriage ceremony. They signed the marriage certificate.
