Anna Walvisch wrote the following note to a friend in Vught concentration camp before she was deported to Westerbork:
'Dear friend. This will be the last you hear from me. I am about to leave. The cars drive through the streets and they are calling that all Jews have to report. I say farewell to you now.
Greet all from me. Also my sister and her husband.'
