Simon Stranders was a son of Joseph Stranders and Carolina Rosenzweig, who had toghether eight children: Simon self, Andreas, Eva, Moritz, (who passed away already in 1930, aged 54, and who was married to Marianne Wegloop), Albert, Elias, Gustave and Nathan who survived the Holocaust.
Simon married on 26 August 1896 in Amsterdam to Naatje Asser, daughter of Salomon Asser and Isaac Katoen.
