Abraham de Vries was the son of Hijman de Vries and Branca Zak. Abraham married 26 May 1926 in Amsterdam Branca Polak, daughter of Abraham Juda Polak and Roosje Swaab. The couple had one daughter: Rosette.
Abraham had three other siblings, Judith, Rebecca and Michel who have been killed all during the Holocaust too.
