Rosalia Hendrika (Roos) Sterk worked until 25 July 1944 for the 'Raad van Arbeid' (Council of Labour) in Amsterdam. She was interned in Westerbork from 8 August 1944 until 3 September 1944, presumably in penalty barack 67. It is likely she worked in the battery factory. On 3 September 1944 she was deported to Auschwitz, on the same transport as Anne Frank and her family. Between 28 October and 1 November 1944 she was relocated to Bergen-Belsen, where she perished three months later.
