Rebecca Ensel was a daughter of David Ensel and Hanna Fransman. She married in Amserdam on 13 February 1901 to Mozes Lierens, a son of Joseph Lierens and Roosje Visman. Mozes Lierens passed away in September 1928 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Rebecca came from a family with 10 children. Three children have died before the war. Besides herself, all her other siblings, Abraham, Andries, Christina, Heintje, Manus and Raphael have been killed during the Holocaust.
