Gerard Binger was a son of Salomon Binger and Anna Sturkop. He married in Weep on 23 September 1891 Abigael de Jong, a daughter of Samuel de Jong and Annaatje Binger. The couple had eight children of whom one daughther deceased 29 January 1924, aged 20; she was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen. The other children of the couple were Salomon, Samuel, Abraham, Anna, Annetta, Marcus and Cato; They have been killed all during the Shoah.
