Wolf Waas was a son of Mozes Waas and Esther Polak. He married in Amsterdam on 22 October 1919 to Vrouwtje de Hond, daughter of Abraham de Hond and Marianne Sluijter. The couple had four children: Mozes and Marianna who both have survived the Holocaust and Lehman and Abraham.
