David Vos, administrator, was married. The couple had one child. During the occupation, David Vos lived at 32 Christiaan de Wetstraat, second floor, in Amsterdam. As a resistance fighter, he was a member of the Parool-group. On 17 September 1941, he was picked up in Amsterdam and imprisoned at the Weteringschans Detention centre. Via the camps at Amersfoort, Vught and Westerbork, he was deported to Auschwitz.
A wedding ring and a few other items of gold jewellery were stolen from him. His wife survived the war.
