Isaac Verduin was a son of Levie Abraham Verduin and Vrouwtje Philip Rood. Isaac had a brother Barend and Jacob and a sister Grietje, who was married to Juda Polak. Isaac married in Weesp on 19 August 1897 to Rachel Bernardine Stijsel. The couple had five children: Louis, Bernard (he survived the Holocaust), Abraham, Leon and Sophia.
