Louis Kooker was a son of Meijer Kooker and Mietje Pais. He married in Amsterdam on 7 July 1921 to Engeltje Barnstein, daughter of Meijer Barnstein and Grietje Kooker. The couple had foru children together, who all were killed during the Holocaust.
Since 12 October 1939 lived his wife Engeltje Barstein apart from Louis at another address in Amsterdam: Blasiusstraat 40 hs.
Louis Kooker had another brother Jesaia, who was married to Eva Barnstein, a sister of his wife Engeltje.
