Meijer Denneboom was a son of Benjamin Denneboom and Eva Spijer. He married 17 December 1933 to Suzanna Chelem, daughter of Itzik Chelem and Hanna Behr. The couple had two childreen: Harry and Frank. Both the children as well their mother Suzanna have survived the Holocaust. Also his sister-in-law Sila and her husband survived the war.
Meijer's other family-in-law members were Lea, Salomon, Gaye and Fride.
