Sara Neuburger was born in Den Haag in 1917. She married in Amsterdam Isaac Leidensdorff on 3 July 1940, a diamond polisher and son of Joseph Leidensdorff and Kitty Mock. Her husband, Isaac Leidensdorff left Amsterdam for Antwerp in 1937 where he lived at Grammestraat 32 in Deurne. Isaac returned shortly to Amsterdam for his wedding to Sara and after their marriage, they still stayed a short time in Amsterdam but left again for Antwerpen. As far as known, Isaac and Sara had no offspring.
Sara Leidensdorff-Neuburger was deported 31 July 1942 with Convoy 21 from Mechelen to Auschwitz; she was killed immediately on arrival there 3 Augustus 1943. Her husband Iaac Leidensdorff survived the Holocaust; he remarried Gertudis Nijs and had three children with her. Isaac Leidensdorff passed away 26 November 1982 in Brussels.
