Salomon Hond was a son of Manus Hond and Sara Aandagt. He married 20 October 1909 in Amsterdam to Judith de Groot, a daughter of Jacob de Groot and Rebecca Sealtiel. Together with Judith he had two children: Emile and Rebecca.
Salomon Hond lived in Berchem (Antwerp) and he was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy VII, which arrived in Auschwitz on 3 September 1942. Salomon Hond was killed immediately upon arrival there.
