The mayor of Amby requested that the Jew Osias Pinkas Gellert, a Polish citizen residing at 38 Hoofdstraat in Amby, be located, detained and brought to trial. He had violated regulations by changing his place of residence without authorization. He had left his home on 25 August 1942 and had been missing since then. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
