Maria Rosalie (Mimi) Jacobson was a daughter of Eduard Jacobson and Maria Joanna Wilhelmina Zoetelief. She married the KNIL soldier Willem Collard in 1896 with whom she went to the Dutch Indies. Her husband died in The Hague on 25 April 1933.
