We knew of him as Lecki

We knew him as Lecki, Lotte's son.  He looks like he was a very smart boy!  His father was arrested and sent to Westerburg.  Lecki and his mother followed him there after received a letter telling them it was a good place.  Lecki wrote to his grandmother “I am happy at last, I am going to make a nice trip”  from Westerburg.    The   trip was to Auschwitz.
