Jonas Salomons was a son of Isaac Salomons and Jette Salomons. He married 16 August 1916 in Weesp Vrouwtje Broekman, a daughter of Lion Broekman and Anna Bondt.
Matje van IJssel, a daughter of Isaak van IJssel and Esther Levie Rijnveld. The couple had no children.
Jonas was born into a family of six children. One brother probably has survived the war and one sister died already in 1913, 30 years old. However, he self, his brother Kalmer and his sisters Betje and Jeannette have been killed during the Shoah.
